Answers to Frequently Asked Questions for Customized Nutrition Newsletters
Where do you get your articles?

Most of our articles are written and provided by Yvette Perrier Quantz, RDN, CSSD, LDN, the founder of Customized Nutrition Newsletters. Our goal is to provide content on a variety of nutrition, health, and wellness related topics supported by scientific evidence, but also written in a way that is easy for your clients to understand and is relatable to their goals.

Who creates the recipes used in newsletters?

The recipes used in Customized Nutrition Newsletters database are created and contributed by third-party businesses such as Hass Avocado Board, Almond Board of California, Watermelon Board, California Walnuts, Tomato Wellness Council, Swerve, American Pistachio Growers, Lentils.org, and more. Some recipes are also provided by independent registered dietitians and food bloggers. All recipes used in your newsletter must include the original reference and link to its source. You can replace one of our recipes with your own, but you cannot modify existing recipes or claim a contributor’s recipe as your own.

What if I practice a unique approach – will I find articles I can use?

Yes, at least that’s our goal!

We aim to include a variety of nutrition, health, and wellness topics that compliment a variety of professional philosophies and approaches. We understand that the field of nutrition, health, and wellness is wide. Clients practice different approaches and philosophies, and we know that there is no one-size-fits-all.

Some practices focus on weight management and medical nutrition therapy, while others may incorporate a more non-diet approach to their nutrition counseling style and work to treat and prevent eating disorders. Still, other practices take a holistic, whole health, whole body approach. We aim to have enough content so that clients can customize their newsletters and the messages they are sending out. We believe that sharing with readers a variety of different nutrition topics helps to keep readers interested. It also helps market what you, as their fitness and/or nutrition professional, can do for them and how you can help.

What if I have ideas or suggestions for article content?

We love feedback and suggestions for future topic ideas! We encourage our users to send ideas for topics their clients are interested in and asking about. The world of nutrition, health, and wellness is always evolving, and we appreciate the feedback our clients provide.

How how do I send my newsletter my list?

We offer a few different solutions for how you can send to your clients, manage your contacts, and grow your list. Our most recent integration provides an all-in-one solution for both your content creation and e-mail management. Signing up for one of the basic plans gives you access to our all-in-one email solution, where you can:

  • upload your contacts
  • create email sign-up forms for your website
  • safe-subscribe clients
  • enable autoresponders
  • send your nutrition newsletter
  • opt to send additional personalized emails such as special offerings, etc. not using our pre-written content
  • more

We are also integrated with Mail Chimp, so if you are using these platforms, you can continue to do so.

How long does it take to put together a newsletter?

Most clients tell us it takes them no more than 15 minutes to select and order their articles for their newsletter. We work hard to make the process as simple as possible.

We want to do away with sending newsletters that start something like: “Sorry you have not heard from me in a while, I’ve been busy…”

You will be relieved with how quickly you can put together a high-quality newsletter that your subscribers love.

What is unique about your service?

There are many things that separate us from other newsletter services out there.

First, we are not trying to compete with other businesses. Instead, we focus on doing our best on what we are good at. We are a small company and are able to offer personalized attention to our clients. We focus on the field of nutrition, health, and wellness.

We also understand the importance of being visible in front of clients’ and potential clients’ minds. We make this easy. We want our clients to bring in more business through creating a touch-point in the form of a newsletter that expresses them as a business, makes them look good, and is something their clients look forward to receiving.

Lastly, we realize your time is very limited, and we aim to keep the process as simple as possible.

What do clients say they like best after using your service?

Most clients are surprised that they get compliments from their clients, and they receive more business right away. Many clients also like our inspirational pieces to include in their newsletters and find that including a mix of information and inspiration results in more client business.
